Press Release
The Chairman, Board of Directors and Management at Donegal Airport welcome the announcement by Minister for Transport, Darragh O’Brien, confirming an allocation of funding amounting to €367,000 for investment in capital projects at the airport.
This funding forms part of the Government’s Regional Airports Programmes 2026-2030 and will support investment in projects relating to safety and security at the airport. In addition, the investment will assist the airport in meeting carbon reduction targets going forward.
Additionally, we are delighted to see the return of the afternoon service on the Donegal to Dublin route, recommencing tomorrow afternoon 1st May. This reinstatement restores vital flexibility for our passengers, ensuring Donegal remains seamlessly connected for both business and leisure travel.
