
Accounts Manager
We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee Financial Management and Human Resource at Donegal Airport. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role offering an opportunity to contribute to the financial and operational success of our vital regional airport. A part-time arrangement may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
Reporting to the Managing Director and Board of Directors, this is a hands-on role covering finance, payroll and HR functions.
What you’ll do:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations and internal controls.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure timely submission of all tax and statutory returns (VAT, PAYE/PRSI, RCT, etc.).
- Manage payroll and support HR functions, including HR records and policies.
- Liaise with auditors, manage CRO compliance and prepare funding applications.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant with relevant experience.
- Experience in accounting, payroll and HR functions.
- Strong IT skills (MS Office; Sage 50 an advantage).
- Excellent communication skills, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
Fluency in Irish desired
This role would suit an experienced Accounts or Finance professional who enjoys a varied, hands-on role in a dynamic operational environment
