We’re delighted to unveil the new artwork here at the airport, a beautiful reflection of Donegal’s warmth, designed by Audrey Kavanagh and installed by Signz Dungloe.

A special word of thanks to Donegal Tourism CLG for their collaboration on this project.

International Arts Festival

The 58th MFD festival runs from 26th July – 4th August 2025 and is an annual ten-day celebration of Irish culture, arts and music.

The festival culminates in the crowning of The Mary from Dungloe. Inspired by a song from the 1930s, the event aims to welcome visitors from around the world and the Irish diaspora back to Donegal.

The varied programme includes Street Music, Vintage Car Show, Fashion Show, Children’s sports and entertainment, Daniel’s Country Sunday, Showband Night, Lá Gaelach, Gala Ball, Crowning Cabaret, the Gay Byrne Walking Trails, the Carnival Parade and introduces a new event for 2025 – the Food & Drinks Fayre which will give Donegal food and drinks producers, together with 5 top Donegal chef’s, a wonderful opportunity to showcase their products and culinary skills.

Mairfidh an 58ú féile Mháire an Chlocháin Léith ó 26 Iúil – 4 Lúnasa 2025 agus is ceiliúradh bliantúil é ar chultúr, ealaíona agus ceol na hÉireann a mhaireann deich lá.

Críochnaíonn an fhéile le corónú Mháire an Chlocháin Léith. Bhí sé spreagtha ag amhrán ó na 1930idí agus tá sé mar aidhm ag an ócáid fáilte a chur roimh chuairteoirí agus an diaspóra Éireannach ó ar fud an domhain ar ais go Dún na nGall.

Áiríonn an clár éagsúil Ceol Sráide, Seó Caranna Seanré, Seó Faisin, spóirt agus siamsaíocht do Pháistí, Domhnach Ceoil Tíre le Daniel, Oíche Showband, Lá Gaelach, bál ceiliúrtha, Cabaret corónaithe, Cosáin Siúlóide Gay Byrne, Paráid an Charnabhail agus cuirfear tús le hócáid nua do 2025 – Tabharfaidh an tAonach Bia & Deochanna deis iontach do tháirgeoirí bia agus dí as Dún na nGall a gcuid táirgí a thaispeáint agus tabharfaidh sé deis do 5 chócaire den scoth ó Dhún na nGall a gcuid scileanna cócaireachta a thaispeáint.
