Due to an EU regulatory change regarding specific security screening equipment the following lags rules will come into effect at all european airports from September 1st 2024
- Liquids, aerosols and gels in containers of 100mls or less can be brought through security – these items can remain in your cabin bag. There are no restrictions on the number of containers or type of liquids, aerosols and gels and they do not have to be presented in a clear plastic bag.
- We will accept liquids, aerosols and gels in containers over 100mls provided they fall into the category of baby foods/milk, medicines or special dietary requirements – and are presented separately at the screening point (outside of your cabin bag). These liquids, aerosols and gels do not have to be in a plastic bag, however they are subject to additional screening.
- All other liquids, aerosols and gels in containers over 100mls, other than from point 2 above, will be rejected and you will be required to surrender them at the screening point for disposal.
If you have liquids, aerosols and gels that fall into the category of point 3 above, they must be placed in hold baggage or disposed of before security.
