FEES AND CHARGES
Effective 1st March 2025
1. Landing Fees
Single Engine €15.00
Twin Engine (under 4 metric tonnes) €28.75
Aircraft over 4 metric tonnes €17.50 per metric tonne or part thereof
Charges based on MTOW rounded upwards to nearest tonne
2. Other Services
Ground Power Unit €51.50 per hook up and €51.50 per hour or part thereof after 30 minutes
Hot Water Replenishment €35
Cleaning of catering dishes €50
Towing of Aircraft €50 per tow
Special Services handling fee* 15% Extra on costs (Min Handling Fee €30)
*newspapers, catering, arranging taxis etc
3. Handling
Passenger Load Supplement – Per outbound pax €17.50
Handling Fee – Per outbound pax €9.75
Exceptions -The following are exempt from charges;
a)Children under two years of age
b)Passengers on Aircraft not operated for hire or reward
4. Out of Hours Charges
Normal hours of Opening are 0900 – 1700 hrs local.
Extensions for charter/private flights can normally be facilitated with a minimum of 48 hours notice and on payment of the following extension rates:
Airport Extensions
(per aircraft request) Per hour or part thereof €330.00
5. Customs/Immigration
Prior notice required
An Owner/Operator of a Donegal Airport based aircraft may pay a sum in lieu of charges for a period of three, six or twelve months for any number of landings within the period – referred to as a Period Landing Fee. Period Landing Fees will be negotiated separately
6. Flying Clubs and Fixed
Base Operators
Payment of period Landing Fee does not entitle an owner/operator to land or take off outside airport operating hours.
Landing, taking-off or manoeuvring on the Aerodrome outside operating hours is illegal.
7. Hangarage
(subject to availability) Per Night (+ Irish VAT @ 23% applies)
Private Aircraft – Single Engine €20 per 24 hours or part thereof
– Twin Engine €40 per 24 hours or part thereof
Commercial Aircraft – Per Metric Tonne €15.00 per 24 hours or part thereof
Push In/Out €50 per push
8. Fuel
Jet A1 Fuel available at monthly rate
VAT applicable on fuel charges – Prices will fluctuate as per cost price.
9. Aircraft Parking
No Charge for the first 2 Hours.
The following charges are for 24 Hours or part thereof.
Not over 3 metric tonnes €15.00 flat rate
Not over 10 metric tonnes €35.75 flat rate.
Not over 20 metric tonnes €64.00 flat rate.
Over 20 tonnes €80.00 flat rate.
Any charge quoted in this schedule may be varied without notice at the sole discretion of Donegal Airport
Authority.Donegal Airport Authority will endeavour to give reasonable notice of any increase in charges.Payments strictly as per credit arrangements where such agreement in place. Payments on operation – where no credit arrangements in place.
