Passengers should check-in at the airport no later than one hour prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight. All flights close for Check-in 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
• Check - in at Dublin - All Aer Lingus Regional scheduled flights depart and arrive Terminal 2 (T2) Dublin Airport - Aer Lingus occupy check -in desks located in the west end of building on the ground floor
• Check-in at Glasgow Airport is in the main terminal

Travel between Ireland and the UK or UK Domestic travel
Citizens of Ireland and the UK must carry some form of official photo identification.
Note: In order to travel between Ireland and the UK photo identification other than a passport, passengers must have been born in Ireland or the UK and also be a citizen of either country. Aer Lingus reserves the right to require proof of citizenship.
The following forms of photo ID are acceptable:
- Valid Passport
- Valid Driving License with photo
- Valid National ID with photo / Goverment issued photo ID card
- Health Insurance cards with photo /Social Security cards with photo
- Valid International Student Identity Card with photo
- Valid Bus pass with photo
- Valid Work ID with photo
Citizens of Ireland and the UK under the age of 16 do not need a photo ID if travelling with their parent/guardian but Aer Lingus Regional recommend that they carry some form of identification (e.g. birth certificate , bus pass or student card) in case this is requested by the immigration authorities at entry.
Citizens of countries other than Ireland and the UK must produce a valid passport and visa where applicable, for travel between Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Pets Travelling on Aer Lingus Regional Flights
Only domestic cats, dogs and rabbits will be accepted for carriage on Aer Lingus Regional operated flights. This applies to domestic flights within Ireland and Britain, with the exception of flights to and from Jersey. At the time of booking, you must contact Aer Lingus Reservations if you plan to travel with a pet. A fee per flight, per crate is also applicable. At this time you will be advised of all restricted breeds for travel on an Aer Lingus Regional flight. Carriage is permitted only with the animal owner's acknowledgement that there may be risks to the health or welfare of their animal caused by the reaction of an animal to flying.The owner's acknowledgement of this is confirmed by booking and presenting their animal for a flight.Pets must be presented for carriage in their own individual crate which must be durable and strong enough for secure travel. The carriage of animals on Aer Lingus Regional flights is subject to there being available space in the aircraft and accordingly Aer Lingus Regional reserve the right to refuse to carry an animal up to and including the scheduled department time.
Note:If you did not book online you will need to contact Aer Lingus Reservations Department in order to book an animal in advance.
Information for passengers with reduced mobility
Donegal Airport has an ongoing commitment to provide the best possible assistance to passengers with reduced mobility. All of the public areas within Donegal Airport are on one level, therefore mobility within the terminal building is easily facilitated as there are no stairs or escalators required.
To be certain of receiving assistance. It is recommended that passengers advise the air carrier of their requirements at the time of booking.
On arrival at Donegal Airport passengers requiring special assistance should proceed to the car-park and use the intercom at the entrance barrier to contact the staff on duty in the Terminal Building. Car park facilities for persons with reduced mobility
Donegal Airport has designated parking spaces for disabled parking permit holders in front of the terminal building. These spaces are well signed and are wheelchair accessible.A valid disabled parking permit must be presented at the reception desk prior to leaving the terminal buliding to receive your free parking exit ticket.
